The Maple Syrup Association along with the University of Kentucky Agriculture Extension is hosting a Maple Syrup Day at local Maple Syrup Farms in Kentucky. We will be open!
We are a small operation of 140 trees. We still do it the old-fashioned way with buckets hanging off the trees.
Sap flow and maple syrup production is all dependent on the weather. So even if there is a big possibility that nothing is happening syrup wise, we have beautiful woods to explore as you meander from one bucket to the next. We will also have maple syrup, maple goodies and hot cider for sale.
“De La Tire” or “Sugar on Snow” is at 10:00, 1:00 and 3:00. This year for safety reasons, “De La Tire” will be served in paper cups instead of eating from a trough. “De La Tire” is $2/per person.
Come enjoy a winter day at Blues End Farm in Shelby County!
